We appreciate the value of gaining proactive work experience for those wishing to pursue a career in law. That’s why we offer a two-week Summer Vacation Scheme to allow future lawyers to gain an understanding of what it's like to work in a leading commercial law firm, and experience life at Acuity Law. It’s also a great opportunity for us to get to know you and see if we can offer you the prospect of future employment.
Our Summer Vacation Scheme runs for two weeks in June 15th-27th, located at our Cardiff or Swansea office.
You will get the opportunity to gain valuable commercial experience in a dynamic and award-winning law firm, working alongside industry leading lawyers. We adopt a hands-on approach to our work experience, so you’ll get the opportunity to work on “live” matters, attend client meetings, and get to know our colleagues. You will also get direct access to lawyers at Partner level and the opportunity to network with juniors across the firm.
We have excellent retention rates and a high proportion of our trainees stay with us on qualifying.
Areas of law that may be covered during the Summer Vacation Scheme include:
• Commercial property
• Corporate/Banking & Finance
• Commercial litigation
• Employment
• Technology
• Commercial contracts
All successful candidates will be offered the opportunity to be considered for a training contract, if we decide we’re right for each other.
We accept applications from candidates who have completed, or are completing an undergraduate degree of any discipline, and who are eligible to apply for a training contract to commence in September 2021.
