Kate joined Acuity Law in 2018 having completed her LPC and Masters in Law, Advanced Legal Drafting at Swansea University with Merit.

Prior to this, Kate completed her undergraduate law degree at the University of Exeter in 2017. Whilst at the University of Exeter, Kate was the social secretary of the law society.

  • Assisting a partner in a high profile procurement review, which involved analysing a procurement exercise conducted by a local authority government client, as well as advising on the authority's governance structure
  • Assisting in reviewing a high value complex IT services contract for the provision of cloud based and remote access IT services for a longstanding client
  • Drafting a complex Shared Intellectual Property Agreement where two separate entities had collaborated on creating an online service, but both wanted to own the intellectual property that arose as a result of that creation in equal shares as separate entities
  • Updating clients privacy policies and terms and conditions and has experience drafting data processing agreements, including those for the processing of personal data outside of the EEA
  • Assisting in the drafting of a contract for the provision of Mortuary and Post-Mortem Facilities and Technical Staff for West Sussex County Council
