Rebecca trained at Acuity, spending the majority of her time as a trainee assisting Claire Knowles in the employment department. She later qualified in to Claire's team in October 2017.

Rebecca attended Llandovery College in Carmarthenshire and studied Law at The University of Reading. She completed her LPC at BPP (Holborn) and is currently working on converting her LPC into a Masters in Law and Business.

She has a particular interest in advising start-up businesses as well as assisting on the employment aspects of corporate transactions.

  • Providing support to Acuity's corporate team in the employment aspects of:

    - the sale of Fraser Simpson to Brickability Group

    - the sale of Ultrapharm Limited (a Welsh baker which specialises in "free from" goods) to listed food manufacturer Finsbury Foods

    - a management buyout transaction with complex financing element from a reputable bank, acting for the buyer group (Artic Building Services)
  • Supporting Claire Knowles and Counsel during an Employment Tribunal hearing concerning employment status for a marine engineering company
  • Supporting Claire Knowles in the settlement of various Employment Tribunal proceedings, including a multi-party dispute for a local authority client
  • Ongoing HR and employment support to Licentia Group (the holding company of MyPinPad Limited, a technology provider of multi-factor authentication solutions for devices such as mobiles and tablets), particularly in relation to GDPR compliance
