Richard is an experienced litigation lawyer. He completed the Legal Practice Course in 2006 and qualified with DAC Beachcroft in 2009. Following qualification, Richard has obtained a wealth of knowledge and experience working for firms such as Slater and Gordon and Hugh James.

Richard has an impressive litigation record and has advised in a broad range of matters including high value complex disputes. Whilst at Hugh James, Richard played an important role in a successful High Court group litigation action.

Richard joined Acuity Law in 2020 and now advises in a variety of commercial disputes as part of our litigation team.

  • Played key part in the progression of the ongoing (as at 2020) High Court group litigation action regarding coke oven workers formerly employed by British Steel Corporation and/or its successors.
  • Successfully handled vibration white finger cases and cases of military personnel suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
  • Recovered multiple awards of compensation for clients suffering from noise induced hearing loss.
